Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP)

The Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP) can be used to withdraw funds from your RRSP to pay for full-time education for you, your spouse or your common-law partner. Withdrawals are not included as income and no tax is withheld.

You can withdraw up to $10,000 per calendar year to a maximum of $20,000 in total. These funds must be repaid to your RRSP, normally within 10 years. If you do not repay the funds, the unpaid amount is added to your income in the year it was due as a payment.

For more information, refer to the CRA website.
